More on the 2023 LWCC Holiday Giving Contest Success

LWCC's Holiday Giving Contest is an innovative initiative, in collaboration with our agent partners, to support nonprofits working to celebrate and elevate Louisiana. In lieu of a traditional holiday gift from LWCC, the company’s agent partners are encouraged to nominate Louisiana-based nonprofits to receive a financial contribution to support their continued work.

Program Details

Following an annual nomination period, up to three nonprofits are selected as finalists.  Nominees are evaluated based on mission and efforts to elevate Louisiana.

A total gift of $20,000 is given on behalf of LWCC’s agent partners and split between the finalists, based on public voting. Each finalist receives a share of the gift equal to the percentage of votes received.

The agents who nominated the finalists are recognized in the contest promotions during public voting and have the opportunity to participate in the check presentation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NOMINATION:
Nonprofit must be based in Louisiana.
Nonprofit must have been established for one year or more.
Nonprofit must have 501(c)(3) status.
Nominators must be affiliated with an agency registered to do business with LWCC.
