Baton Rouge, Louisiana (September 8, 2022) – LWCC is pleased to announce the 21 recipients of its 2022 Safety Grants Program, designed to help foster a culture of safety and wellbeing in Louisiana’s workforce.
LWCC launched the safety program earlier this summer to provide up to $2,500 in one-time funds to policyholders to be used to implement increased safety measures. Following the application period, a funding committee evaluated the submissions based on merit, scope, and impact of the intended safety programming.
The 2022 Safety Grants recipients are:

- New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity

- Sanctified Productions LLC
- Shreve Memorial Library
- Sorrel Electrical Specialties, LLC
- WEBCO Services LLC
Grant recipients can utilize the provided funding to implement a safety project or purchase specialized equipment with a goal of increasing workplace safety and decreasing the risk of workplace accidents. A member of LWCC’s Safety Services Team will visit the workplace of each recipient to help maximize the use of provided funding and make recommendations on the safety initiative.
