For the third time, LWCC has been recognized by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and Greater Baton Rouge Society of Human Resource Management as one of the top 50 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge in 2020. As we enter a new era of pride at LWCC, this recognition is more important than ever. We appreciate that our employees and the community see the great strides we are taking and the impact it is having.
LWCC CEO, Kristin Wall, had the opportunity to share one of the things that makes our office a better place to work as part of the Best Places to Work Executive Survey. She discussed the impact the LWCC Fitness Center has on the office culture.
To determine the winners, independent national firm Best Companies Group surveyed companies that applied to participate. Both for-profit companies and nonprofits with 15 or more full- or part-time employees in the nine-parish Capital Region are eligible to participate.
The first portion of the assessment involves an employee questionnaire about the company. The second portion involves a randomly selected group employees who respond to statements and open-ended questions.
Best Companies Group analyzes and ranks participating firms on eight core focus areas: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; employees’ relationships with supervisors; training, development and resources; pay and benefits; and overall employee engagement.
We are honored to receive this award. Without the commitment and dedication of each and every LWCC employee, we would not be able to deliver excellence in execution in workers’ comp insurance for over 20,000 businesses in Louisiana, much less continue our work to elevate Louisiana’s position in America.
