Utilization Review (UR)

Most treatment requires prior authorization, submitted on the standard LWC Form 1010. According to the utilization review guidelines, LWCC has 5 business days to respond to a 1010. If you have not received a response within the allowed time, please reach out to our Medical Services team.

Coming soon, LWCC’s Claims & Finance Departments will be providing claims payments by partnering with VPay, giving you the option of using virtual cards (VCards) issued by VPay through the Mastercard network, in lieu of paper checks.
