BATON ROUGE (December 1, 2021) – In all we do, LWCC is Louisiana Loyal, leading a movement to celebrate and elevate Louisiana. We recognize we cannot do this alone and must use our voice to achieve our goals and garner the support of businesses and individuals across the state.
This year, LWCC’s communication efforts were recognized by the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds (AASCIF). AASCIF is an association of workers’ compensation companies from 26 different states, plus 8 workers’ comp boards in Canada. This organization allows members to learn from and collaborate with each other so that we can better serve our respective states and territories.
During a recent virtual awards ceremony, LWCC was recognized as a winner in two categories: policyholder and external communication.
Our 2020 dividend distribution received first place in the policyholder communication category. This honor recognized our efforts to effectively communicate both the impact and economic growth potential of the dividend, as well as the role policyholders play in Louisiana Loyal, through the innovative check holder that was mailed to policyholders.
LWCC’s Champions of Louisiana program received third place in the external communication category. This is a Louisiana Loyal initiative that highlights individuals, businesses, and nonprofits equally committed to bettering our home state. The program includes feature webpages, articles, videos, and photography for each Champion using our voice to amplify their voice.
We recognize that our efforts require the support of many, including our employees, agent partners, policyholders, injured workers, and the many citizens of our great state. Without successful communication to share our vision and engage others, we cannot be successful. LWCC is honored to be recognized for our efforts and is motivated by others that were recognized to do more as we continue to elevate Louisiana’s position in America.
