LWCC's Holiday Giving Contest, an innovative new initiative to support nonprofits working to elevate Louisiana alongside our agent partners, is now open. In lieu of a traditional holiday gift from LWCC, we invite our agent partners to nominate a Louisiana-based nonprofit to receive a financial contribution from us to support their continued work.
Up to three nonprofits will be selected by LWCC’s Agency Council. All submissions will be evaluated based on their philanthropic mission and efforts to elevate Louisiana.
A total gift of $20,000 will be given on behalf of LWCC’s agent partners and split between the selected groups based on voting. Voting will then open to both the agent community and the public to determine how the funds will be distributed. Each nonprofit will receive a share of the gift equal to the percentage of votes received.

Requirements for nominations:
- Nonprofit must be based in Louisiana.
- Nonprofit must have been established for one year or more.
- Nonprofit much have 501(c)(3) status.
- Nominators must be affiliated with an agency registered to do business with LWCC.
