BATON ROUGE, La. (March 9, 2018)—LWCC recently welcomed Robin “Rob” Liles as the newest member to its board of directors.
Since 2016, Liles has been the president of the general contracting firm, Buquet & LeBlanc, Inc., where he served in other capacities since 1997, including vice president of estimating. Liles is the advisory board president of the Baton Rouge Community College Construction Management Program and has served on the advisory board of First Bank & Trust. Additionally, he is treasurer and past president of BREADA, the board which oversees the Red Stick Farmers Market and Main Street Market.
“I am honored to be invited to join LWCC’s board of directors and grateful for the opportunity to serve this outstanding organization,” said Liles. “I am pleased to serve and contribute to the company’s success. LWCC has been and will continue to be an economic catalyst that helps Louisiana thrive, and I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on the company, its stakeholders and the state of Louisiana.”
LWCC Board Chairman Craig Thomson stated, “Mr. Liles has a strong background as a for-profit business leader and brings his unique perspective to the board. His business and community leadership roles position him as a valuable addition to our board and as a member representing LWCC’s key constituents, Louisiana employers and their employees.”
