BATON ROUGE, La. (February 10, 2015)—Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC) recently welcomed Patrick Mockler as the newest member to its board of directors.
Mockler serves as president of Mockler Beverage Company, a family-owned beverage distributor in Baton Rouge, La. He has been with the company for more than 27 years. Mockler earned a bachelor’s degree in international trade and finance from Louisiana State University.
“I am honored to have been chosen as a member of the LWCC board of directors,” said Mockler. “The company has a strong reputation in the state’s business community and has been a stabilizing force in workers’ compensation. I’m pleased to be a part of this world-class organization, and I’m excited to be a part of its bright future.”
“As a leader of a solid, family-owned Louisiana business, Patrick brings a fresh perspective to the board,” said LWCC Board Chairman Murphy J. “Mike” Foster, Jr. “In its third decade, LWCC continues to thrive as a leader in the workers’ compensation market. I look forward to working with Patrick and drawing from his experience.”
