LWCC Announces Sponsorship Opportunities to Support Kids' Chance Scholarship Fund
LWCC is pleased to once again partner with agents and vendors to support the Kids' Chance Scholarship Program. This year the event will have an exciting new format.
On Wednesday, December 8, LWCC will host Billy Beane, MLB executive and subject of the bestselling book and Oscar nominated film, Moneyball, to launch our Speaker Series at the Foster Learning Center. Kids' Chance sponsors will have the opportunity to attend this event in person and receive special recognition. Help us support Kids' Chance and join us for this exciting event!

Meet Our Guest Speaker
Considered one of the most progressive and talented baseball executives in the game today, Billy Beane has molded the Oakland Athletics into one of professional baseball’s most consistent winners since taking over as General Manager following the 1997 season. His strategic methodology has come to be known as the Moneyball philosophy, named for the bestselling book and Oscar nominated film chronicling Beane’s journey from General Manager to hero to celebrated management genius. Beane will share his innovative, winning style of management and leadership, which involves utilizing analytics to identify undervalued assets to create and sustain a competitive advantage.
More About Our Cause
The Kids’ Chance Scholarship Fund is administered by the Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) and provides scholarships to dependent children of Louisiana workers killed or permanently and totally disabled in a workplace accident. Since 2004, the program has awarded 322 scholarships totaling $784,000.
