ORLANDO, Fla. (May 7, 2010) -- Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation (LWCC) President and CEO Kristin W. Wall was elected to the Board of Directors of NCCI Holdings, Inc. on May 7. NCCI (the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc.) is the largest provider of workers' compensation and employee injury data and statistics in the nation.
Wall is among five new board members elected by the organization's membership during NCCI's Annual Issues Symposium 2010, held in Orlando. The others are Juan Andrade, President and COO of Property and Casualty Operations at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc.; Elizabeth R. Haar, President and CEO of Accident Fund Holdings, Inc.; John Schapperle, President and COO of Island Insurance Company, Ltd.; and Ernest J. Mrozek, retired Vice Chairman and CFO of The ServiceMaster Company.
"We are very pleased to name five outstanding new members to NCCI's Board of Directors," said NCCI President and CEO Stephen Klingel. "Their wide breadth of industry knowledge and business experience is sure to serve NCCI well as the market begins to recover from a challenging economic cycle."
NCCI, based in Boca Raton, Florida, manages the nation's largest database of workers' compensation insurance information. NCCI analyzes trends, prepares workers' compensation insurance rate recommendations, determines the cost of proposed legislation, and provides a variety of services and tools to maintain a healthy workers' compensation system.
