Investing in Louisiana’s Future

‍

At LWCC, helping Louisiana thrive means investing in the people who will move our state forward.

‍

The Stephen W. Cavanaugh Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to honor the leadership and lasting contributions of Stephen W. Cavanaugh, LWCC’s first CEO. Cavanaugh led LWCC from its inception in 1992 until 2006 and played an important role in shaping both the company and Louisiana’s insurance industry.

‍

Under Cavanaugh’s leadership, LWCC helped bring stability to Louisiana’s workers’ compensation market and established a foundation for the company’s long-term success. The scholarship continues that legacy by investing in students who have the potential to become future leaders in insurance and contribute to the strength of the industry in Louisiana.
