Holiday Giving 2025: Generosity That Goes Further
LWCC’s fifth annual Holiday Giving Program continued a holiday tradition of investing in Louisiana nonprofits, awarding $20,000 to three organizations providing critical support to children, families, and communities across our state.

Event Recap
The 2025 Holiday Giving Program brought together LWCC agent partners and communities across Louisiana to support nonprofits making a meaningful difference in our state. Agent partners nominated more than 60 organizations, with Child Advocacy Services, St. Vincent de Paul – Baton Rouge, and Team Fleur De Que selected as the three finalists. The public then cast more than 11,000 votes to determine how LWCC’s $20,000 gift would be distributed among the organizations.
Giving That Makes a Difference
Team Fleur De Que

Team Fleur De Que brings people together to raise funds and provide hands-on support for children and families impacted by pediatric brain cancer. Over the years, its efforts have contributed to more than $6.3 million raised to support Louisiana families and institutions.
That support has also helped make two “Hogs Houses” possible in Louisiana, providing a home away from home for families while their children undergo treatment. One is located at Manning Family Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, with the second close to home at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. Support from the 2025 Holiday Giving Program helped Team Fleur De Que continue its work, providing resources and support for Louisiana families facing pediatric brain cancer and helping ensure they do not have to face it alone.
St. Vincent de Paul – Baton Rouge

St. Vincent de Paul serves individuals and families experiencing poverty and homelessness, helping meet immediate needs while providing support and resources to help neighbors move toward greater stability.
The organization used its Holiday Giving funds as supplemental support across its programs, allowing resources to be directed where they were needed most. LWCC’s gift helped provide food, shelter, clothing, prescription medication, and other critical assistance, helping St. Vincent de Paul respond to neighbors facing difficult choices with practical support, dignity, and compassion.
Child Advocacy Services

For more than 30 years, Child Advocacy Services has supported children and families across southeast Louisiana through its Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) programs, providing advocacy, trauma-informed support, and resources for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Funding from the 2025 Holiday Giving Program helped provide critical resources and support to children served through both programs. The gift allowed Child Advocacy Services to meet needs that can fall outside traditional funding sources, providing an added layer of care for children and families when they need it most.
