OneDay 2025: Moving FORWARD Together
OneDay 2025 gave employees 24 hours to ideate, collaborate, and transform bold ideas into action. Focused on advancing LWCC’s strategic plan, FORWARD, teams created innovative projects to foster relationships with stakeholders, innovate new benefits and services, and advance growth initiatives.

Event Recap
OneDay 2025 was a testament to innovation, collaboration, and LWCC’s commitment to continuous improvement. This annual event empowered employees to develop creative solutions that enhance the corporate strategy and our impact on Louisiana.
This year, 64 employees from across the company formed eight teams, each tackling unique challenges ranging from technological advancements to employee recruitment and retention. Over a 24-hour period, teams worked intensively to refine their ideas, culminating in final pitches on Friday, February 21.
Teams presented to their peers and a distinguished panel of judges including Kristin W. Wall, LWCC President & CEO, Adam Knapp, Better Together CEO, Tommy Huval, LWCC Board Chair, and Rob Liles, LWCC Board Vice-Chair. Following presentations, the judges deliberated to select the winner of the Judges’ Choice Award while attendees voted on the People’s Choice Award.
"OneDay showcases the power of our team’s insight and innovation,” shared Kristin W. Wall, LWCC President & CEO. “Our employees understand stakeholder challenges firsthand, and when we put them in the driver’s seat, the solutions they create are incredible. Through collaboration and creativity, we’re driving better service and a stronger future for LWCC and Louisiana."
The Winning Projects
While the purpose of OneDay is to build meaningful cross-team relationships through autonomy, mastery, and purpose, “winners” are selected by both the judges panel and by peers. This year’s winners are:
